My wife and I went to Sayville Ford to return two leases and lease two new vehicles (3 time customer). As many people went through one of the worst economic downturns since the Great Depression we were no exception. I always put my cards on the table and hold back nothing (credit, employment etc.) After running our credit (not bad or great) we were approved for two new vehicles and monthly payment amounts, they took a thousand dollars down and we were told to come in the following day to pick up the new vehicles. The following day we're told the monthly payments would be higher (out of our budget) An addition to the now soured deal, We're told there's something wrong with the second vehicle...Well.....guess we'll need a more expensive one.......So we nixed the whole mess and asked for our money back...They agree and said we'll have to send you a check....They took the money from my debit card....guess they don't know how to do a reversal.....Anyway after numerous phone calls and being told the "check is in the mail" lol for a week (we live 20 minutes away)...I had to have our bank reverse it....Guess the check got lost in the mail. We went over to Ramp Ford in Port Jefferson and Robert & Charlie did the right thing and the next day we drove out with two new vehicles, on budget and no hassles. My Caveat....STAY AWAY FROM SAYVILLE FORD!
