Dear all` I am sandip patil. I have worked as a graphic designer for autus academy. The director of company is poonam kumari. I have given a prior one month notice before leaving company. I have also worked extra days to complete the remaining work. But still I haven't got my last month salary. I am not from Mumbai. So I left Mumbai after leaving the company. After 3 months in august, for some reason I came in Mumbai. I called her for salary purpose on 17th of august (Wednesday). But she had not received my call for 3 days. On Saturday, she messaged me and asked me to come in office to collect check on Monday (22nd august). So I extended my stay in Mumbai to collect the check. On Monday when I reached in andheri, Mumbai office, she was not there. Also she was not receiving my phone calls. She was at other office in Colaba. So I called her on office phone number. Then she told me to meet her next day (23rd august) 8am, at andheri station. I reached there at 7:30 am. And tried her mobile for next 1hr. `But she again ignored my call. At 9.00 am she messaged me to come office again. When I reached to office she was not there. After waiting for hour again, she sent cheque with her brother. Cheque was of date 1st September 2011 of Indian Bank of Mumbai. I deposited cheque on 1st September, but it get bounced, so I again deposited the cheque on 19th September and called her, to take care so that it will not get bounced again. But she said, “It’s your mistake, you should have told me before depositing cheque. That account is blocked." It is her mistake to give the cheque of blocked account. She haven't taken any care to clear that cheque. So it got bounced for second time on 30th September. I requested her to transfer my salary amount in my bank account, but she hasn’t done anything to give my salary. I have left the hopes to get my salary. The previous staff has warned about this salary problem. But she was very good with her behavior, that’s why I worked more than notice period, also without pay. But her behavior was fake about the salary. This company has also got same complaint from other staff members. So my advice to all new staff is, take your salary before 5th of the month and don’t give notice period if you want the last month salary. Also I want to tell the students willing to join Autus courses, to check, if company is registered or not and if autus certificates have any value in future. Autus also has some co-companies like autuskidz, ezee-english etc. She hasn’t done the payment of the web designers who designed the websites for her companies.
