Safesound Alarms took a month to deliver the alarms to Edinburgh, Scotland and I thought that was a very long time.

After advice from Pissed Consumer I emailed the company to complain. The company kept me informed as to the passage of the alarms and they eventually arrived. I found the company to be very polite and professional, and I was pleased with their response. User's recommendation: Should you live outside of the USA, check first if you will have to pay import duty.
