11/21/2019 Received a custom built door with side lights and the jam leg was split 18 inches, this was for a custom house in Flagstaff, Arizona from the Sun Mountain door company in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sun Mountain door in Scottsdale approved for $200.00 to replace the new jam they provided. The jam they sent was an inch too wide, in order to keep the house secured we decided to cut the jam they sent to the proper size, sand it and finish it for a fraction of the cost, $230.00. Which they have refused to pay. If they would have had to come to Flagstaff and taken the door down and replaced the jam, it would have cost at least $1500.00 or more. They are claiming that they not going to pay the $230.00, due to an untimely manner of the invoice being submitted. I don't think they realized the security breaches and issues that would have occurred had they taken the door down and sent it to their factory for it to be fixed. They are cheeping out on a door package that was well over $20,000 by $230, I think that speaks volume for the caliber of the company. I would never use this company again, I would never recommend this company to anybody they're not worth it.
