On May 13, 2019 I donated some plasma at Grifols Plasma Center at 1000 Broadway Drive, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and everything went ok. When I got home I checked my account and they did not put the right amount of money on my payment card. I called them right away and I spoke to someone named "Connie", and she said she needed my name so I gave her my name, she said "They did not have a file with that name", so she asked me again for my name (I have had the same name for 60 years), so she said again "I don't have a folder with that name", so she asked me for my donor number, I gave it to her and she found the file with my name on it, it hadn't been but an hour since I was there and donated, I mean, da. I told her I have been called Ray for 60 years I told her who ever processed my donation did not put the right amount of money on my card, they put $20.00 but the amount was owed to me was to be $100.00. She developed an attitude about it and hung up on me and I called back and spoke with the manager (supposedly) (Jennifer)?, she was rude to say the least she acted like it made her angry that I would call and ask about my money they owed me, she said "They corrected it", well, that is good, but she told me that "I would have to speak to a manager before I returned to donate, and the fact to the matter is I was already speaking to a manager, her. They accused me of being rude, but they were rude and I told them so and they need to change their attitudes if they want to keep good donors there. Donating Plasma helps others who need it like bulimics, and other people who have certain types of blood diseases. They gave me a "VIP" card last week, and I am suppose to get $100.00 for the first 4 times, I was on my third donation when the little verbal kerfuffle took place on the phone. They shouldn't get angry with the donor for calling them on their mistake when they owe a donor money for donating, it's not the donors fault. I called the corporate Office in LOs Angeles, CA, filed a phone complaint with a person there named Pam. She is suppose, to give to whoever is in charge, the complaint and hopefully they can straighten those people out who has the bad attitudes cause that is bad for business. I am going to think very hard about going back there and donating plasma there again, it is not worth the hassle, especially the attitudes from management and the nurse(intake).
