My husband is 77 and has a hearing problem all his life and when he worked he had a job that further destroyed his hearing. Finally, at age 70, we got hearing aids. We here living in PA at the time and the audiologist at Miracle Ear was great. She got him fitted and he never had a problem with them. Then we moved 4 years ago and he started having some issues so we went to the audiologist at Miracle Ear and he was the rudest man and insulting. He's never offered to test my husband again to see if he's had any changes in his hearing and since we didn't buy them from him, he doesn't want to be bothered with us. Since he is the only Miracle Ear audiologist in our area we've had to put up with him. About 2 weeks ago, a piece broke in one of my husbands hearing aids. We took it in to him and it had to be sent to a lab in Phoenix. We didn't hear back from the office here so we stopped in yesterday to check on the status. The gal that works there had no clue what was happening with it. She called Phoenix and they told her they couldn't fix it and it was sent to MN. She called MN and they said it was fixed 2 days after they received it but they haven't been paid by Miracle Ear so they were holding it. After more phone calls and several hours later, she called and said it was being Overnighted and she'd have it the next day (today). So far, we haven't heard from her. We asked how much it was going to cost and she said the audiologist said it would be $350!! We're definitely not going to buy Miracle Ear again.
