I went in in 2017 for a root canal and wisdom teeth extraction. The dentist there had said that it could be done but I would need a full cleaning that she would not do a root canal without a cleaning. They gave me a list of what everything would cost me, said I had great insurance covered at 80% and for everything I would only pay 600 in payments. I said ok. I got x-rays and the full cleaning. When it came to the root canal they said they didnt have a dentist there that couldnt do a root canal and that they would refer me to another dentist. They said my wisdom teeth were coming in sideways and they also could not do that. I went home still with a hole in my tooth. I was in pain so I called them and asked to just have the toothed pulled put. I went in they wanted to get x-rays again which I had just had. Told them no. The assistant comes over and tells me, well you can get a root canal done you have great insurance. I told her that they had just said they couldnt do it. She goes and talks to someone and comes back and says you're right we cant. I ended up paying another 100 for the tooth pulled. One year later I get a bill that my insurance wasn't in network and I owe them 1000 dollars. So here I am one tooth less, still have wisdom teeth, payed them about 700 for a cleaning and a pulled tooth and now I have a 1200 dollar bill because they add interest on top of it. My credit score was affected and they wont stop calling me and mailing me papers. I wish someone would take them to court.
