Planned for a first time stay at TRU. Being a member I expected the same service and experience of Hilton. Entering room on 3rd floor checking everything out the design and accessories was very good along with a perfect view. The main decor, the bed was poorly made with stain and hairs throughout. Requesting housekeeping to freshen up wasn't available. Shocked since it was during mid afternoon. The only option was moving to another room on 4th floor. Same layout and appearance. Bed again was poorly made. Tired and totally frustrated with at this point settling. Spreading my traveling blanket on top of the bed and laying down it wasn't a comfortable mattress. The hard night sleep tossing and turning made me anxious to leave. Before checking out before 11am leaving my room to go put luggage in vehicle the room key didn't allow me back in with using. Housekeeping, front desk attendant and manager couldn't get the door to open. Being that the rest of my items, mobile and purse was still in room I became very distressed. After over 2 hours and another staff came my room door was opened. Moral of this review is hopefully Hilton as a whole will have more empathy and compassion for customers when they experience this type of discomfort. I've never in all my travel stays experienced this type of treatment and service. HONORS membership canceled!!
