On March 23 2020 We came to the Country Inn and Suites in Florence, SC with a coupon for $84.for the night which we had called on the road a half hour away and was told by the front desk that they had plenty of rooms available for the night. Upon arrival 30mins later we were greeted by the front desk man who remembered me calling we had to wait while he helped a person staying there with a key problem. The front desk man went in the back came out and the strangest thing happen he told us there no king size beds available so we asked for a queen he then told us there were no rooms available at all and gave us a coupon to go to tru Hilton. Up the street. In disbelief and tired from traveling from Fla. that day on our way home toMass. which we do every year in March we went to theHilton. When we got to the Hilton we tried calling the 800number for the Radison but it was to late so we put a complaint in by E-Mail asking someone to call us to discuss how we were treated. Didnt hear anything tried calling again when we got home to Mass. It is now June no one has called or E-Mailed us back from the Pissed Consumer Team. We are Surprised at the way we were treated we have stayed at many CountryInns and are a club member. We understand that there has been a lot of down time because of COVID-19 but we would expect that we would have an answer by now.
