The first 2 room AC units broke after 3 uses. The 3rd one stopped working now we used it once. We had the repair man out they wanted and he said it was not repairable. (big surprise). We have everything documented and are doing this on our 96 year old mothers behalf who has asthma. She has been without AC now all summer. I call the 1-800 number and either get told " we are to busy to take your call and I get disconnected, or just get disconnected. The wait times are close to 45 min each time I call. We have called at least 30 times regarding this unit. It seems as if this procedure is advancing at a minuscule pace, but why? Just order the damn thing and send it to my mothers house. My frustration level is 500!!! I was suppose to hear from them today regarding if they were able to "locate" one for us. I haven't heard and its now 4:35pm I've called and the call got let go 3x because you are to busy. This is a nightmare and I wouldn't recommend a frigidaire product to anyone. People want a product the company will stand behind and help when we need it. There is a 5 year warranty on this unit and by the time I get help the 5 years will have passed. To say our family is upset is an understatement... our mother is 96 YEARS OLD!!! SHE HAS ASTHMA!!! SHE NEEDS THE UNIT NOW not in a year.
