Signed contract for a new roof. This company did not show up on time. they only worked for a few hours each day and strung out a two day job into 4 day and two of those day I had my garage blocked by a dump truck that was leaking diesel fuel constantly out of the gas tank they had a cup under it but it overflowed all over my driveway. Owner had said several times he would clean it up and never did. I have paid him several thousand already and owe him 750.00 and told him I would hold payment if he didn't clean it up, but I didn't I am still waiting for the clean up in front of my house and on my drive way. This action by this has shown total disregard to my personal property and has now threatened to put a lien on my house as it is up for sale, by calling my realtor and telling her I owe this stupid high amount to him and he is putting a lien on my house. Then I get a call from realtor and she explains to me that she can not show this house at this time because there is a lien that is being put on your house because I haven't paid the roofer. that is all a lie. first no payment was due, and what right does he have to defame my character by saying I didn't not pay him when he got a check for 7900.00 or about that much and then my first payment of 250.00 wasn't due yet. All the trouble he has caused me I still paid him and it isn't me not to pay a bill AND PAY IT ON TIME. MY issue with this company is that the have not completed the job be not cleaning up their mess. so I will be holding the last payment until its done that gives the almost 3 months and I am writing them a letter and telling them I will do next
