I assumed road hazard coverage would cover the cost of a new tire. INCORRECT. They only reimburse you up to the amount you paid when the tire was first purchased. $45 disparity in my case. It's a little misleading but I am grateful we had the coverage. I will then be responsible for having the tire mounted as soon as the tire arrives, which could be days. Tire Rack is a decent place to purchase tires but the after purchase service is questionable. I get that the tire mounting is on me, no problem but $45 would have more than covered it. Just disappointing that I thought we had it settled.
