RISE loans will only extend your crisis or make it permanent.

Update by user Dec 07, 2018 ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFO/WARNING: RISE will count your disabled child's SSI/SSA income as your income if it is the only way they can justify giving you a loan. Other loan companies verified my income and told me they don't do what RISE does. RISE will say the customer made them do it. They will not accept responsibility for verifying your income. Be warned. Everything is your fault. They will give you a loan you can't afford and tell you that you made them do it. If you are in the middle of a crisis you might not think it through clearly because of your stress. RISE is not in the middle of a crisis and they should be verifying income and not accusing customers. There is no excuse for a loan company to skip the verification process. Don't trust that it won't go through if it shouldn't. Don't trust that your income or anything is being verified. RISE is predatory. Just like during the housing crisis when banks were making loans they knew they should not make, it is happening ahead. Heads up America, the predators are loose again and they don't care if your live or die. They want your money. Be careful and be warned. They will blame the customer when confronted with their questionable process. You forced them to take advantage of you and your family. Update by user Dec 07, 2018 Note: I have a perfect payment history. My credit score is approx 690. I had planned to use the RISE loan as a temporary step and pay it off before the first payment was due. I did that twice with AVANT. It was AVANT that referred me to RISE. Does AVANT get paid to send their rejects to get scalped by RISE? Is it legal for RISE to charge 199% interest in California?I paid off a $12,000 loan to LOAN DEPOT this month and planned to get a loan with them again before the RISE loan first payment was due. LOAN DEPOT informed me that they stopped making PERSONAL loans three weeks ago and are only doing home equity loans now. I had previously paid off two loans with JEWISH FREE LOAN ASSOCIATION on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. I found out that they no longer make loans to single moms who don't have a co-signer. they made the previous two loans to me without a co-signer but they have a new person in charge now and me and my autistic son are out of luck. We don't have extended family to co-sign for us. My perfect payment history doesn't have the weight I thought it did.So, I am asking you to learn from my pain. Don't do this to yourself. Don't make a loan with an evil shark thinking you have resources to pay the loan before the ugly stuff starts happening to you. Things change and the resources you always counted on may not be there anymore. Things change fast and the financial world seems to have gotten extremely hostile, ruthless and cruel. They will even blame you for being stupid enough to work with them.If you are like me, you didn't seek RISE out and never would. RISE slithered into my life via AVANT loans. I paid two previous AVANT loans in full. They rewarded me by referring me, in writing, to RISE.So be careful out there when you need an emergency loan. If you have family that will co-sign for you, take that route. Don't trust referrals. A company that didn't hurt you may refer you to a company that will. Original review posted by user Dec 06, 2018 I do not recommend RISE. Their interest rate should be criminal. The United Nations should charge RISE with crimes against humanity. RISE loans are dangerous. If for some reason you find you are unable to pay it off as fast as you planned, you will end up paying approximately $7000 for a $2000 loan or worse. The interest is 199%. It is disgusting that RISE takes advantage of people at their times of crisis and extends that crisis or even makes the crisis permanent, ruining lives. Find another way to survive your crisis. RISE will only make the pain last longer.
