Purchase a brand new water heater manufactured by A O Smith and within less than the first month it failed to work five times. Called the service department over a period of three days / three separate calls and being on hold for over an hour each time there was no resolve to repair or replace. Technical Support refused to give me another person to talk to. Paid $500 for a brand new water heater from A O Smith and an additional $700 for installation. A O Smith gave me a number to call with an authorization code but the recipient of the number given said they did not install the water heater and they are not obligated to repair or replace. I had given the name of the service company who installed the water heater but they said that was not the company to call. Three days later still no resolve. I am a retired senior citizen on a fixed income out of $1200 and no hot water in the dead of winter. I am a combat veteran with a purple heart and bronze star who has been robbed of my money and service treated like a second class citizen. I recommend to all my fellow veteran brothers and sisters and all patriots to NOT conduct business with A O Smith User's recommendation: Avoid conducting business with A O Smith.
