Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Absolute HORRID ordeal with this gym. I go to the one in Sachse. It's worse than trying to get out of a timeshare meeting! I had a complimentary personal fitness evaluation which I did and then the trainer told me that she thought I would benefit from personal training. I felt pressured to accept. She showed me a plan for 9 personal training sessions for $311/month. I figured I'd try a month of it and see if I liked it. I specifically asked her if I could cancel at anytime as I knew I didn't want to pay $311/month for any length of time! She said Yes. I went to 2 of the training sessions and decided that it wasn't for me. I wanted to work out on my own and just enjoy being at the gym. I also have medical issues that came into play. I told the manager that I would like to cancel the personal training from here on out. I said that they could keep the $300 from this month even though I wasn't going to use the sessions. I should have known right then and there that it was going to get ugly. The manager kept asking me why and told me I'd have to talk to Stacy on Tuesday morning. I was a little flabbergasted at why she was making such a big deal about it as I was still planning to pay as a regular member of their gym. Fast forward to Tuesday, I go in when I was supposed to meet Stacy and she's not even there. She calls me an hour later and says that she can't cancel my training membership. She also says that she did NOT tell me that I could cancel at any time. I can see that I am NOT the ONLY one on here that has been screwed over. I think we can all see the truth just by looking at the other reviews on yelp! Long story short, we talked back and forth and didn't resolve anything. STAY AWAY!!
