Talk about ironic.... we are the gate guards you that left before you arrived - leaving the temporary gate guard in place as instructed by timekeepers. We were suppose to leave 3 days prior and bumped it back so Gatekeepers would have ample time to make arrangements. When no one showed that morning at 8am as requested to replace us...Lara lied to us and created all sorts of excuses as to why no one was there at 8am!We learned to take what she has to say with a grain of salt and mention our needs/requests to more than one person if you truly want results (how sad) That gate was a nightmare and agreed that no one supported us at that gate. Requests were ignored we had to create our own time sheets and even ran out of printer ink due to the intense volume on that gate. Seems to us everyone in that office should experience a gate for 24hours to understand the demands of the job and importance of our requests. Field support is the biggest downfall of this company. We returned to gatekeepers in June and were placed at a lovely gate until our departure in July. 2 weeks after our departure; someone from the office contacted us wanting to know how our gate was doing and if we needed supplies. So maybe communication is the next issue they need to work on LOL We too were "young" gate guard and our background was construction project management. We even offered to work in positions to coordinate field and office communications etc and were told - no need or money to do so. Would definitely go back to that job but think twice before using that company again as lying is not acceptable. I expect to be treated as I would treat others.
