Update by user Mar 24, 2021 Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. After posting on here ScottishPower got it’s finger out iand sorted my account. An apology and £25 into my bank account. Original review posted by user Feb 22, 2021 160* 290* 468 49 Muir Drive 04/05/1968 0780987**** stuart_gregg@***.co.uk I might be mentally ill but Im not stupid. In your email you make out as if I was at fault. This problem all started when I left Clear Start Accountants and called ScottishPower to see if I could pay £32 every 2 weeks by SO and I got t details from ScottishPower and set it up. Then you cancelled my tariff DD and when I phoned and asked about it. I was told I couldnt do that. So make your mind up. I called AGAIN to arrange to go on one of the cancer charity tariffs and also pay £75 towards my debt. To easy for ScottishPower to understand????? The DD didnt come out on the 8th of February. I went to check my bank on Monday the 9th (which would have been my mothers 76th birthday but we lost her to Covid in September). So instead of thinking about my mother I was on the phone with ScottishPower all day. I did make you aware that I was going to pay £155 on the 9th of February NOBODY TOLD ME THAT YOU WERE GOING TO TAKE £222 A DAY LATER THAN MY ORIGINAL AGREEMENT. WHICH I WOULD SAY OFFERING £75 A MONTH AND GOING WITHOUT TO PAY. SCOTTISH-POWER WOULDN'T MESS IT UP. Your email is condescending and rude. The balance on my account is wrong. You took money today you had no right to take. I would like a full apology in writing not email. I would also like a copy of all correspondence between us to take to the ombudsman and my lawyer. I would also like to give you the opportunity to put things right. 1. Being a written apology 2. Refunding the money you took today. Without my consent 3. A financial settlement for the stress anxiety you have put me through All I was trying to do was pay an extra 32 every 2 weeks and it has ended up with me on more medication and with no food. DEFINITELY NOT A GREAT ADVERTISEMENT FOR SCOTTISH POWER Sent from my iPhone
