Resolved: Terrible extended warranty process

Update by user Jan 17, 2020 A Representative called the day the complaint was made and resolved the issue with a credit for the purchase price of the defective refrigerator minus taxes and extended warranty cost. Original review posted by user Jan 17, 2020 Bought 5 year extended warranty on Samsung fridge RF263BEAEBC purchased on 11/2/15. Approximately 2 years later, ice machine quit working. Repairman fixed ice machine on twice on two trips. On 1/6/20 ice machine broke again. Called and was told 1/10 was earliest so done could come out. On 1/10 repairman deemed the fridge unrepairable for multiple defects. Called on 1/13 to check status and was told to call back on 1/17. On 1/17, was told the diagnostics were not sent to them from the repair company even though I was told on 1/13 it had been. Now I’m told I will get a call hopefully on 1/20 to “discuss options.” So far I have had to take the initiative on all phone calls. It has been over two weeks and have gotten nowhere getting this garbage fridge repaired/replaced.
