I am a former employee of Mellow Tuscaloosa and I am now working at Mellow in Tallahassee. WE NEED HELP there is no real training and NONE of the basic cleanliness standards for Bev station are being upheld. The tea urns were so nasty they looked like they had were an oven that had never been cleaned, no one even knew what a Sani-Bucket even was and they have been using DEGREASER in the tables. When I disassembled the soda machine the "assistant manager/bartender" commented that she had never seen it done and she herself didn't even know how to re assemble it. They are dropping off dirty bar glasses in the same place as drink pick up as well as THE BARTENDER STACKING UP HER DIRTY PLATES THERE! I have been here for two days and its a wreck. The ice wells are only burned and cleaned ONCE A WEEK. We has no proper tea or water pitchers, there are not enough parm shakers to properly set up each table, we don't have the correct tops for the red pepper shakers and the owners literally just sit at the bar the entire night. We don't have a manager doing table visits. There is no expo. I do understand that they have had a huge turn over recently but what I have observed during my "training" is an abhorrent neglect and lack of standards and care for our guests. I absolutely love Mellow as a concept and was excited to work at another Mellow and have been doing my very best and will continue to try to bring this location up to speed but I feel overwhelmed and of course do not want to lose my job by going Gordon Ramsey on this place. PLEASE PLAESE PLEASE SEND HELP! We NEED Rochelle!!!!!!!!!!!!!
