Original review posted by user May 12, 2020 Unfortunately, we have purchased an EV Code Signing certificate from GlobalSign for a 1000 USD: 1. They have provided a wrong invoice, 2. Even though promised, they didn't provide SHA-1 version of our certificate which prevents us from releasing our software to legacy systems causing us even more problem, 3. The only difference between a EV Certificate and a regular one is the level of security and a more strict vetting process. They say this is possible in the cheaper (regular certificate) but not possible in EV Certificate, 4. After we have accepted to buy a standard certificate, they didn't provide us with the discount rate they have provided to another company facing the same issue. User's recommendation: Stay away from GlobalSign.
