Update by user Aug 09, 2019 Check out this news story about the Gold Elements store in Opry Mills Mall. It aired on July 15, 2019. https://www.wsmv.com/news/bbb-warns-about-skin-care-store-at-opry-mills/article_a1fd5ed6-a752-11e9-8e4d-37d9d4e8a6cf.html Update by user Aug 05, 2019 Full refund from company Update by user Dec 09, 2018 I have now heard from the Consumer Protection Agency in Tennessee (a division of the Department of Commerce and Insurance). This agency will mediate my claim against Aurarius/Gold Elements. I notified the legal counsel for Assaf Amar/Amar Assaf, the "President" of Gold Elements in Nashville, of this, and I sent the attorney the unopened box of products (no shipping label or invoice ever emailed or mailed to me to let me know what to expect in the box). On Friday, December 7, I received the box from the attorney's office. It is still unopened. I cannot use the product, even if I wanted to have it, as it makes my skin break out in a stinging rash. More importantly, the terms of the contract I purchased from a sales agent named Micheal were fraudulently misrepresented to me. My suit against Aurarius/Gold Elements meets all six elements required for fraudulent misrepresentation, and I expect to receive a refund once the State of Tennessee begins the mediation process. I'll update this complaint when that happens. Update by user Oct 11, 2018 About three weeks ago, the Better Business Bureau notified me that Gold Elements had rejected my request for reimbursement/refund and claimed that my behavior towards their employees was "borderline harassment." I had to laugh, as their sales tactics are ruthless--and I NEVER did anything to harass the sales staff. I am in the process of going to small claims court in Nashville as soon as I locate the name of the contact person for the store. I have called the mall's management office to get the name, but according to store staff, that person "does not reside at that address." I will call again today to try to get a contact person. There is no registered agent for this business, according to the Secretary of State's office in Tennessee, and no one at the store will share that information with me. This has been a major run-around. Original review posted by user Sep 11, 2018 I submitted a review a few days ago before I learned that Micheal, the salesclerk in the Nashville store (Opry Mills), had outright lied to me. When I expressed concern that I could not use the membership he was pushing me to buy, as I live in a different state, he assured me that there was no problem in doing so. I told him that I lived in New Jersey, and he told me that I could go to the Gold Elements store in the Mills at Jersey Gardens to get my facials and purchase products. I did not have a way to check this statement, as my phone was not connected to the Internet. Yesterday, I decided to use the store locator at https://goldelements-usa.com/ to try to find a Gold Elements store closer to my home. What I discovered is that there is not a Gold Elements store anywhere in New Jersey. I should have an easy time in small claims court, where I can be awarded treble damages.
