Resolved: Don’t trust them!!

Update by user Nov 14, 2019 I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and was contacted by a 2nd tier person who deals with complaints. She had me ship the purse back to her and I included print outs of the photos I took of the purse prior to the damage. I was then told they would mark the purse as accepted and listed as sold for $250. Checks are only cut a couple times a month so I haven’t received it yet but I feel like they will follow through. This employee did help restore my faith in this company. I don’t know that I would ever send anything in again to sell but the 2 items I have bought from them in the past were in excellent condition so I may still purchase from them again since this has been resolved. Original review posted by user Oct 15, 2019 I sent in a brand new Michael Kors purse that I bought as a gift then changed my mind. I had never consigned with them and had taken lots of photos of my purse because I posted it for sale on my Poshmark account. I sent The RealReal photos of the inside and outside of my purse I was told it was perfect to sell. I ship it in wrapped in bubble wrap and it was returned unwanted with the clasp ripped off. The clasp has a release button to open it and someone clearly didn’t know how to open the purse. Despite my photos I was told I sent the purse in that condition. While the policy says they are responsible once in their hands clearly they claim no responsibility for their actions when I have photos to prove it. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Attached are two photos prior to sending and how it was returned to me! Glad it wasn’t an Hermès purse! Beware if you are considering them you have no recourse even with photos!!!
