Someone had somehow swiped my gift card bar code @ the store before I was able to use it. The very next morning on my first attempt to use the card, it was denied with zero balance. I went immediately to the store of purchase to express what had happened. Then I called vanilla gift card dispute department & was given vital information of where my card was used. Then I called the merchant & got confirming information that it was NOT me who used the card to pay a bill because I had no record on my account. Consequently, I completed the dispute form with all the proof & required documents to resolve the problem. Yeah, the resolution teams sent me a refund check! Thank you from a very satisfied customer.
