RENTED KNEE SCOOTER THAT COLLAPSED TWICE

RENTED KNEE SCOOTER ON ABOUT 27MAY. ONE WEEK LATER THE WHEEL FELL OFF CAUSING ME TO FALL ON MY ALREADY BROKEN ANKLE. THE COMPANY PICKED UP THE SCOOTER AND RETURNED IT SUPPOSEDLY FIXED. THE SCOOTER COLLAPSED AGAIN. I CONTACTED THE AFTER HOURS SERVICE. I WAS QUESTIONED AS IF IT WERE MY FAULT THAT I WAS GIVEN A DEFECTIVE VEHICLE AND BECAUSE OF HIS ATTITUDE I MENTIONED THE FACT THAT I HAD BEEN MORE THAN GRACIOUS AND THAT I THOUGHT I HAD BEEN OVER CHARGED. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD PAY 100.00 A MONTH OR 25 DOLLARS A WEEK. I PAID 25DOLLARS DOWN ORIGINALLY, ANTICIPATING BUYING MY OWN SCOOTER FROM AMAZON. DECIDED TO CONTINUE TO RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I WAS CHARGED 100 DOLLARS MORE ON 24JUN. TOTALING 125 DOLLARS. THE PERSON THAT I SPOKE WITH EXPLAINED THAT THE REASON I WAS CHARGED MORE WAS BECAUSE THEY HAD TO COME OUT AND SERVICE THE RENTED SCOOTER. HE COMPARED IT TO HAVING A PLUMBER COME OUT AND HAVING TO PAY A SERVICE FEE. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THAT WAS A POOR COMPARISON. HAVING A PLUMBER COME OUT WOULD BE MY RESPONSIBILITY AND REPAIRING DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT WOULD BE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. I BELIEVE I WAS BEING LIED TO. I BELIEVE HE WAS BEING LAZY AND NOT WANTING TO HELP ME AND SEEM PRE-OCCUPIED, WHICH LEFT ME IMMOBILE FROM SATURDAY TO MONDAY MORNING AND IN DANGER OF FALLING OR HAVING TO EVACUATE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. User's recommendation: EQUIPMENT DEFECTIVE AND CUSTOMER POOR.
