Renewal Scam

1

I got an e-mail from NHL TV on Sept 4, noting my subscription would renew unless I cancelled by 2359 on Sept. 12. I clicked on the provided link to cancel. It took me to a page that did seemingly nothing. So, I sent an e-mail to the provided e-mail address, telling them to cancel my account. The e-mail was delivered on Sept. 11. (No way I was going to renew with the regular freezing and frequent blackouts that meant I could only see about half of my team’s games.) So, when I opened my credit card bill today, there’s a charge for $24.99, despite my cancellation. Now, I have to dispute the bill with the credit card company. NHL TV is a fraud, and should be sued with a huge bite of punitive damages as well as compensatory.
