Update by user Feb 18, 2021 Told Credit First , this is the credit that I used to pay for my repairs. told them I was not going to pay for this problem. Did not send my monthly payment. Herd from them a week later stating a temporary adjustment of 714.00 has been made to my account. I also heard from Bridgestone consumer affairs. I sent the man in charge 7 different papers telling and showing all of my letters and bills I had to repair my problem. He told me he would look into my complaint. I should hear from him soon. I will update this text when I hear from him. Original review posted by user Jan 19, 2021 Six months ago I took my car into firestone because it was leaking oil. They tried different things to stop it from leaking. Told me it was my intake manifold gaskets. They said they put in eight of them at a cost of 715.00. The next day it started leaking again. They told me to leave my car, and they would get back to me in 3 hours. Five hours went by and asked what the problem was. The manager that worked on my car wouldn't talk to me. He told the women that worked at the desk to tell me that I needed to take my car to a machine shop. He said my car will start leaking oil again. He stuffed silicone into the hole to stop it from leaking. THIS SHOWS THAT I DIDN'T NEED THE GASKETS. I took my car to another mechanic two months ago because it started leaking again. He put a new harmonic balancer and a new seal. Cost 375.00. I will take this to court if necessary. The sign in the shop says we will fix it right. RIGHT. User's recommendation: Find a better place to take your car ." (good luck) I did ".
