Reimbursement/Compensation request JKF – Bogota

Interjet does not care about customers! This message concerns a roundtrip flight JFK to BOGOTA via Mexico. The ticket has been booked via LastMinute but Interjet is fully responsible of delays and cancellation of my flight. Outward journey Flight #4O2993 JFK-MEXint Juarez was on time - 02/27/2020 at 00:50AM. Flight #4O2930 MEXint Juarez-BOG was cancelled. The reason given by a supervisor of Jetblue was airplane maintenance, so this is not an external reason and that ensures my rights to a compensation. Interjet offered a flight to Medellin instead of Bogota. I accepted because the next flight to Bogota was 36 hours later and he had to arrive at Bogotà on Friday, February 28 for work. I should point out that the flight from Mexico City to Medellin was operated 10 hours after and also delayed for more than 3 hours. The company offered a voucher to eat that was not accepted anywhere in Mexico airport. Then I had to pay a night at the hotel in Medellin because the flight arrived at Medellin after the last flight to Bogota. I also had to pay for Medellin-Bogota domestic flight. The return journey on 03/30/2020 was also cancelled by Interjet, BOGOTA to JFK via Mexico. Therefore I ask for the reimbursement of the costs generated by the flight cancellation and delays, that means the full ticket, the night in the hostel, the flight Medellin - Bogota and a compensation (I was not able to take my flight to Cartago and to work on 02/28/2020). I am sure you will easily understand that the loss and troubles caused by Interjet is HUGE. I am looking to receive your understanding and actions to get a reimbursement and a compensation.
