Refused to stay a few minutes late

I wanted to pick out my glasses with my daughter on FaceTime, who is in the Netherlands. When she said she needed to bike home, and could I wait, I asked at the desk and they said, sure, they often have customers a bit after 5. But when I went in to start looking at glasses, I was told no, they close at 5. When I explained that I'd asked and had been told differently, the young woman "talked to her manager," who said, We close at five and the next appointment is in three weeks. Right. People who don't want my business. User's recommendation: I won't go back, and I suggest you probably will have some kind of a similar experience.
