Refused to remove my deceased mother’s name and address

After waiting over 30 minutes to speak with a customer service representative, I contacted their credit department and even then waited what seemed like forever to speak with someone. Once I got someone on the phone and requested that my mother's name and address be removed, he stated a package would be sent and someone would have to sign for it and a copy of her death certificate returned. I told him that was ridiculous to have to submit a death certificate just to stop getting mail! He stated because it was an "established" account the death certificate had to be submitted. When I asked him when she had ever placed an order and used said account (which she NEVER had a credit account with them) he stated he could not see that information and said he could transfer me to customer service. As i sit typing this, I am still on hold!
