Refused to pay dentist visit after I had paid that monthly insurance coverage fee

1

I had Physician's Mutual starting in Jan 2020 and paid January and February monthly fees and due to their high fee for little coverage till 12 months, I cancelled on Feb 13th. Me and my husband both went to dentists Feb 5th and they paid the claim on my husband, but I got a statement that mine had not been paid. His bill was $200 and they paid $153 and my bill was $116 and they paid none. I called them and they said they had refunded me what was left of my payments which was $ 212 for the two months minus the $153 they paid for my husbands bill stating I had requested to cancel and get a refund which I definitely did not do. I got the refund of the left over about March 1 st and then got another letter from Physicians Mutual stating "date if service is after division cancellation date." They had told me twice just after my first call to them that they were looking into this and would call me back and that was about 10 days ago now. I called the fraudulent hotline that was on that statement and got no answer and a recording that they were not available. User's recommendation: dont get this for your dental carrier.
