Purchased a plan for my son a first time car buyer, engine and transmission coverage. It was a high mile car but contact was sold. One year down the road the transmission went. Ford Lincoln Protect denied the claim due to low fluid, pre-existing issue. Its an older car that is what the warranty is for! No puddles of oil while parked in the driveway. I feel Craig from FLP used this an out to void the warranty. Might as well toss the warranty paperwork. If there is an engine problem I'm sure we will get the same pre-existing issue line. User's recommendation: Don't waste your money on a warranty for the drivetrain on a used car. Repairs will not be paid due to pre-existing condition.
