On 3 different occasions I attempted to write a check at the Kroger in Algonac, Mi. Each time the check was refused as unacceptable. I contacted the check authorization company on the sale slip but they couldn't really tell me anything. Basically said it didn't match the criteria for checks at Kroger. My issue is that I am conservator for my brother and I must pay for everything by check. How am I buying groceries if I can't write a check. I am on the verge of never shopping at Kroger again even though it means driving 10 miles out of my way do you go to another grocery store.
