Refuse to Refund Despite Cancellation Requested within 30 days of Renewal
2
My Brain Host hosting plan was due for renewal on 7 Sep 2015. I was not happy with their service at all due to frequent down time. When I subscribed to Brain Host, I paid using Paypal and I had added Brain Host into "My Pre-Approved Payments". I saw a failed payment notice in my Paypal. So, I sent BrainHost an email to stop the auto-billing. I was not aware of the "Pre-Approved Payments" feature in Paypal. So, on 20 Sep 2015, I checked on my Paypal account, and found that BrainHost had successfully charged the renewal of USD238.80 on 12 Sep 2015. So, I wrote an email and open a support ticket to ask for cancellation and refund. According to their refund policy in their Terms and Conditions, there is a 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee on all shared hosting plans. I got a reply from Adam R, "Per your request, we have cancelled you account but we cannot offer you a refund. Please let us know if you have any questions." So, I asked for a reason for not refunding to me. I did not get a reply from them at all.
