refusal to refund for product not used/wanted due to automatic billing

My credit card was billed for a year's service. When I realized this and notified Bitdefender, their response was, "It has been over a month so no refund." We keep your money and you get nothing. Bitdefender does not even show up on my computer. I couldn't even reinstate it if I wanted to - I don't. Why risk going to jail when you can just steal money with no repercussions!
