Refund not processed – terrible service, no resolution

My partner used Prezi for work purposes for only 2-3 months in 2015 and then closed the account as per standard instructions. ZERO emails were received from Prezi from that day forward. Forward one year later (2016), the card used for the subscription got closed and cancelled and we have found that Prezi continued to charge the card each month AFTER the cancellation. Customer service is slow in more ways than one (try repeating yourself with the same information!). They first insist that they had processed our request for a Refund to the same card - but the card is closed, it isn't possible to use or refund onto. Our bank also confirms in writing the funds are not returned and cannot be. Back and forth with multiple emails with Prezi customer service, they continue to claim the refund is processed - but also that they cannot alter the card or recipient details as to how they can actually, successfully, return the funds. Then they forwarded us to some Accounts person who claims we are no longer eligible for a refund because the account was closed Nov 2016! (When we brought this to Prezi's attention, not the month of cancellation.) This company is inconsistent with their customer information, provide poor service, and are incapable of finding solutions.
