I am highly disappointed with my purchase of a refrigerator from Hitachi. I bought it in the year 2017 and just within a short span, the refrigerator started showing new problems and a few months later, it stopped functioning properly. I've shared Product Details below: Brand: Hitachi Model: Double door, 466 ltr. Year of Purchase: 2017 Complaint No and Date: [protected], 03.07.2017 Customer ID: 2167586. There is no cooling. Even the food compartment is warming up. Plus, there has always been noise problem with it from the beginning - all of this is creating a huge mess because this is a major utility appliance and one cannot do without it. I am displeased with their services and regret buying this product from Hitachi and wasting my money. I would have gone to some other reputed brand like Samsung or Godrej. We've always known Hitachi as a reliable brand for years and have always trusted it whenever we considered purchasing high-end electronics and appliances. I never thought my experience with them, their product would be so unsatisfactory. Hitachi always cites its dedicated customer service panel and their quick redressal of customer grievances, but I have had a poor experience with them. I even lodged several complaints citing the same issues with the company's customer service department, but nothing helped. Previously, the representative provided me with a complaint number but since then, has not responded with an appropriate solution. Now when I try to reach out to them, they simply put me on hold or simply dodge the issue at their convenience and ask me to wait. What kind of services do you offer? Is this what you call professionalism? A customer is contacting for such a long time and you do not even listen to their qualms? If you are also looking forward to buying any kitchen appliance or other product from this brand, I would advise you to drop your decision. You will feel sorry about it in the future. My refrigerator is still in the warranty period, so I want it to be replaced or repaired as soon as possible. I have all the required documents for an enclosure but no one is showing up any concern. I've escalated this complaint multiple times but in vain. They have just got tall talks, fake claims, and pathetic service. Their contact number is mostly never reachable or they simply do not attend your query seriously.
