Device will not add to my account, newly purchased speed camera updates not accessible, and TomTom cannot update There seems to be nothing but an impenetrable iron wall between TomTom and the customers when it comes to needing support. I have an old email address: jamesp***@hotmail.com, this is what my Go 5000 is registered to, I have a preferred account: j*********@gmail.com which I want to use. I have purchased Speed Camera updates using my j*********@gmail.com account, this has been 'in progress' for more than 12 hours !!!. Also, when trying to add my device to the account J*********@gmail.com it constantly fails. I have already removed it from my old Hotmail account. So now, I have a SatNav that I can't update, and a £29 purchase that I can't get to. I need help. I am going on a long Journey on Sunday and it looks like I'll have to buy a map!!!! User's recommendation: Avoid TomTom - updating is nothing but a heartache.
