I received an invitation to search recent trade directory additions on My Heritage (I have a free subscription after uploading a large family tree). I was taken to a payment page where I could upgrade to a paid subscription. This is "Tricky" behaviour; it is commonly called "bait and switch". If a facility isn't available for a limited subscription, that's fair. However, don't suck people in with and offer and then dangle it out of reach. At best, it only alienates your customers. At worst, it is misleading. Whoever designed this cynical and unproductive way of building business should be cut from the MH team. User's recommendation: Don't fall for clumsy ploys to extract money from your pocket.
