Recently purchased a firearm from the December auction. First of all, Morphy charged tax on shipping and other fees. Secondly, the description of the firearm was untrue. This was item #2362, WW Greener 12 ga. The gun was listed as having good bores and mechanics and locks up tight. The chambers are rusted, the forearm hanger has been glued on ( not soldered ) and the gun is off face. I do not know if Morphy is dishonest or just encompetant. I have purchased items in the past, but never again. User's recommendation: Morphy's gives auction houses a bad name, steer clear.
