If there is a Law, suit against Capella University, I would like to, become a part of it, for reimbursement of all funds. I began the Doctoral in Human Service and Organizational Management in Fall or Winter of 2018. I was doing fine so I thought until I started receiving lower grades, when I would ask the instructors for precise clarity. Their response was like a maze, if I'm paying to be educated I expect clear answers to answer a question even if it's by way of an example. At no time was that given, additionally my 1st course instructor used templates she created. This template wasn't apart of the course books instructions so I was continually confused on what instructions to follow. Not to mention that I was unaware of how to use and additional scoring guide they have that barely concedes with the course book instructions. I failed the 1st course but was moved on to the next semester. In the next semester I failed one class because I forgot to submit on class discussion and 1 final assignment, with grades such as 88 and above in all discussions and all finals I failed to see how 1 assignment and one class discussion can drop you to a failing grade. On the other hand, one of the classes was so aloof the entire class failed a particular assignment, the instructor stated in all her years has she ever had such a disaster were as almost the entire class failed the assignment and she said she was going to note that she as well agrees that the instruction in the course books differs from the rubric guide the also use. By the time I began to grasp how to use both sets of instructions I was beyond confused. On the other hand, the majority of my learning experience was meet with electronic difficulty on the universities end. The majority of my semester we had continued disruptions in electronic service and was unable to access course rooms, the library etc. It was a pull and struggle as it was to understand multiple instructions not to mention when your researching and can't access areas of the campus website. I complained to my academic advisors about these failing grades, the internet failures on the universities end, the advisors barely can assist and generally all supervisors are to busy. Lastly I was told by academic advising team members that since I failed my first semester, I could retake the classes and bring my GPA to standards. I was informed by several academic advisors is the way I could achieve this was by taking each class over and receive an A grade in each class. At that time I could appeal to the universities to receive financial aid based on improved progress. I completed the appeals process and was denied based on lack of progress, in which is a lie because the one course they gave me to retake I completed with an A grade. When I asked who can I appeal this decision to I was told their is nobody to appeal the appeal decision too. I asked if the course I took was not going to have any bearings on me receiving continued financial aid why did they such I retake the course. Why did the campus allow me to be eligible for financial aid to retake a failed course but on the other hand deny me the chance to receive financial aid after I have made exceptional progress. As of today's date October 3, 2019 I'm filing any and all complaints because this university isn't going to just use my money and fail me and take no accountability on their part. There is now way I would've asked for financial aid to retake a course that wouldn't assist me with progressing forward. Currently I have to find another campus online and restart my Doctrine program and seeking financial aid on top of what has been wasted at Capella University.
