Received two pair 514 jeans made using thinner denim.

Before sending the jeans back to Levis I called their customer service number and spoke to Brian who was very courteous. I read him the PC9 number from another pair of 514 jeans that were made with the thicker more traditional Levis denim and asked him to tell which 514 jeans were available in that material. He acknowledged the change in denim thickness and told me that his department had requested that information be included on their website, but he didn't have that information. When I requested that he refer me to a supervisor who would address my request, I was told there was no-one in the Levis organization would be willing to take my call. He said that Levis, like any corporation has limited resources, and has chosen not to devote the resources necessary to be able to answer the question of which 514 jeans were made using their more tradition thickness of denim. It seems to me that the thickness and feel of the material used in a pair of jeans is significant to the customer. To me it seems shortsighted that Levis is unwilling to address this issue or provide a customer with assistance in finding which Levis product that they wish to buy.
