Rebate card has 6 month expiration date

1

I received a $50 Acuvue rebate that had an expiration of 6 months. I did not realize this as most cards are good for 1 year. When I tried to use the card it wouldn’t work because it expired and a monthly charge of $2.95 had started. I tried to call several times to find out why the card wasn’t working with wait times greater than 15 minutes. When I finally got through I was told there is now a $10 re-issue fee and the card I Thought had $38 ish left on it actually has $25. What a racket! I have literally spent thousands on contacts for two people in my house and a $50 rebate is the least Acuvue could do. Next eye exam we will be letting the Physician know we’d like to try a different brand. Who wants to deal with a company that scams on rebates?
