Realtor listing contract scam
We signed a listing contract with a realtor. He did not leave a listing contract copy with us. The relationship soured immediately as they became rude and disrespectful. I requested a copy of the listing contract which was emailed to us. What we received was not what we had signed and it was incomplete. It was a fraud. I sought to cancel the listing as the house had not been placed on the market. No services had been rendered. The realtors had done absolutely nothing to market the house. They claimed payment for non-existent "services rendered". The local real estate board sided with the fraudulent realtors, partners in crime. Never call the local criminal and complicit real estate board with your complaint. Go to a lawyer, ombudsman or the media with realtor complaints. Lesson learned: realtors are *** and as a consumer never attribute a shred of integrity to a realtor. Don't let him leave the house without a copy of the contract. Have him leave a copy of the contract with you to review before signing. If you can, take the contract to a lawyer for review. Remember that realtors can and will rob you, laughing all the way to the bank with your stolen money. That's just standard industry practice amongst realtors, especially in Calgary, Alberta. The best defense when dealing with realtors is to always consider realtors, especially realtors in Calgary Alberta Canada, as the potential criminals they are running scams on innocent victims like us.
