Rainsoft won’t respond to service calls or messages.
Update by user Feb 02, 2012 Seetwater finally contacted me. Turns out the information on their web site may not be the best number to call. They came out and completely repaired or replaced whatever was needed to get my water softener working again. Original review posted by user Jan 02, 2012 I bought a Rainsoft water softener in 2006. I've been mostly satisfied with the performance, but have since learned they are extremely over-priced compared to comparable units. Now, about 5 years later, it has somehow become so clogged or something like that, that it caused my water pressure to severely drop. I confirmed this by bypassing the unit, and the pressure returns to normal. I have left several messages with the local dealer I purchased it from, and an email to the main Rainsoft headquarters, and no responses at all, nill, nada. I can never reach a person to speak with, only phone tree recordings and voice mail.
