Raid fogger cans didn’t click on as directed

Bought several Raid Flea Foggers by S. C. Johnson and found that fully half (6) didn't stay on when the instructions to "remove tab and press down firmly" were followed. I read and reread the instructions and followed them to the letter; still no success with these...
