I debated for three days about buying Dewalt tools from a store on Shopify. Finally, Feb 18 I bought the tools, got a receipt. I used PayPal. After paying $10 additional for express delivery and not receiving my purchase, I tried to log into the site to contact them, No site! Thankfully I had screenshots and emailed the support contact. It was returned as undeliverable. I found a second email and sent them a request for into on my purchase, No response. PayPal showed a tracking number. I saw my product was processed through facility in China. That was March 1st. The site says Oops... check my spelling... shop is unavailable, try back later. March 7 another site appeared with the same deal. I sent an email about my previous experience and could they help me, March 10 no response and that shop is now unavailable. I was scammed $109.00 but am thankfully protected by PayPal! However, I believe Shopify should be held responsible for allowing these types of unverified shops to pop up for several days then disappear, Shopify should also provide information to us, the customer, but their terms of service says they will be the middle man to help resolve by contacting the seller, but they will never disclose any seller's information. What a croc of $4it. I'm done with Facebook too. Allowing such sites to advertise is a poor business ethic.
