Problem with Michelin tires

Tire wear. New luxury vehicle with less then 40,000 miles. Tires are guarenteed for 55,000 miles or 6 years. The dealership has told me the tread is at 2/32 on both right tires and 3/32 and 4/32 on the left. I don't drive for work so shouldnt be a factor.
