We purchased a John Weiland home in 2009. We are having a problem getting settlement from Certainteed Fiber Cement Litigation so we may replace shrinking/cracking siding. Our original claim was in February of this year (which was rejected citing additional photos, etc were needed!). Resubmitted information as required (6/13/18) only to receive a letter back requesting further information. We have called 1-85*-332-3413 number located in Chanhassen, MN trying to resolve this matter. Have asked for supervisor (Chris, they will not share last name) to give a call back...still no courtesy call!!! I am a Vietnam war veteran/senior citizen who doesn't deserve being treated in this manner. If you are building a new home please ask if Certainteed fiber siding or shingles are being used in construction, if so, I strongly suggest requesting another manufacturer.
