The prices in the BX are too high for anyone on a military salary to shop.There are blouses alone for more than $200.00,and there are parts of the stores that nobody is ever in because its too expensive.(300.00 for a blender is unacceptable.We are forced to support our host country's economy ( not that there is anything wrong with that) and not in moderation.We spend less in Euro(exclusively) than in dollars.Why are the prices so high on base?I believe this is why the German economy is booming.I have nothing against our host country,but I cannot afford to shop on base any more because the sizes are limited,and most of the clothes are just plain ugly.I do not wish to offend anyone.What else can be done?
