“Prepaid Hotel Reservation” Scam!!!

My husband and I booked the Sheraton Boston Hotel with Cancelon for May 16th, 2019 for one night. Cancelon charged us the hotel fee. They sent us a Confirmation Status in writing as confirmed with an order ID#. Upon arrival to the hotel we found out that we DID NOT HAVE A RESERVATION!!! We contacted CANCELON and they said to wait for a few minutes and they will contact the hotel. We waited and waited! After several times of being put on hold for a "few more minutes" we asked to speak to their supervisor! The supervisor was not able to confirm our reservation as well! He kept saying "can you please hold for another 10 minutes!!! We were on hold for 55 minutes and did not get anywhere and by this time we were late for our dinner reservation!!! We ended up booking a night for the hotel directly at a price of $420 a night!!!!!!!! CANCELON IS A FRAUD BOOKING SERVICE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED, IT NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN!!!!!!! UNHAPPY IN CT!
